Lippie Lovin’: Snoe Rouge Deluxe in X4 Berry Divine

Happy rainy evening guys! Let’s enjoy the cold breeze while we can because before we know it, the heat of the sun would be unbearable again come summer! But if you’d be heading off to Baguio, Tagaytay or the beach and would be having a grand time, then I congratulate you! I have to spend the start of the summer (March to April) with my nose buried in my Unit Operations, Math, Chemistry and etc. books.
I know I promised you guys a swatch of the Snoe Rouge Deluxe in Berry Divine, which I got as a gift from my brother, so here it is! I have mostly the same thoughts as with my first tube from the line which is Chili Pepper. If you want, you can read my review for this lipstick by clicking right HERE.
Cutesy packaging. 😀
Code and shade name

Excuse the grit on this, I don’t know where it came from!
I’m not sure if it’s from the product itself or if it’s from the fish crackers I ate prior to swatching. 😛
I checked it again a while ago and this grit is absent naman.
*raises eyebrow to the mystery before me*
Anyway, here is le swatch on my lips!
Berry Divine is very divine indeed! I like the bright berry pink color! It’s so feminine with a bit of edge! I haven’t been experimental with this lip color when I wear it out of the house. I keep the eyes neutral or bare and my cheeks either bare or with a light dusting of pink blush, preferably a bit cool-toned or of a similar hue as the lipstick methinks. But that’s just me. Feel free to be adventurous when you get your own tube! 😛
And of course, here is the dark pink stain that was left after I ate my lunch of paksiw na bangus (oversharing? :P). It stayed on until I ate my dinner (spaghetti. Yes I am on a mission to make you hungry. heehee).

Product Critique: Snoe Beauty Rouge Deluxe in X8 Chili Pepper (The 9 Hour Road Test)

Hello ladies! The coming year is beckoning! Are you excited? I sure am! I’ve been hearing firecrackers exploding in our neighborhood and I put extra effort in making sure that where I put my foot is is safe. There are naughty kids on our street kasi. Anyways, for this post I’ll be reviewing my favorite red lipstick to date:
Snoe Beauty Rouge Deluxe in X8 Chili Pepper
I got it for free at Snoe Beauty’s 3rd Semi-Annual Blogger Event but this retails for Php399 at all Snoe Beauty outlets and online.
Cutesy vintage-looking box, don’t you think?

I like the dainty gold design on the light pink plastic tube! I hope it doesn’t fade over time! If it does, I’ll do my very best to preserve it as long as I can! 😛 I think the tube could be better improved, but if the production cost went to ensuring prime quality of the product itself, I can’t complain much!

(in bold are the ones I have now, italicized are the ones I want to get soon)
X1 Heavenly Pink
X2 Precious Pout
X3 Sugar and Spice
X4 Berry Divine
X6 Cappuccino Delight
X7 Just Peachy
X8 Chili Pepper
X10 Plum Crazy
X11 Bite Me
X12 Vintage Rose

Product description on the box

Check out the stuff it’s formulated without!
Directions for use

Ingredients list. It’s infused with a lot of oils and vitamins!

Proudly Philippine Made!
Contact details are printed on the box as well

Upon opening and a little twisting, this happy and bright red will greet you!

Swatched on my wrist (under direct sunlight)

Under natural light

I rubbed it off with tissue and look at the stain it left!

I did this road test on three separate occasions but decided to go with posting photos of the last one. The first was during my movie date with mom, the second was done at night (err poor lighting anyone?) and this successful one was at home, starting at 10 AM.

Freshly applied

No signs of fading yet.

No, it ain’t goin’ nowhere!

After eating lunch… (I think I ate something oily that day)
The creamy coat of lipstick is mostly gone but look at that stain y’all!

Late afternoon, stain is still there albeit a little faded

At 7 pm, the stain has faded further, but dang, it’s still there!

On my late night test (second test from 9:30 PM – 3:30 AM), it stayed on for four hours without lip activity. At 2:30 AM that night I licked my lips on purpose and drank water so the coat was removed and the stain was left.

Now my thoughts on the product:

Chili Pepper is a bright true red shade. I usually dismiss getting bright red lipsticks because I feel like they are too in your face and I prefer classic reds like MAC Russian Red. Chili Pepper changed my mind! I’d definitely wear this any time of the day. The lipstick feels nice on the lips and the color payoff is really good. I didn’t experience any drying despite its satin finish, so props to Snoe Beauty for that. The lipstick stays on for about 4 hours without a lot of lip activity (without eating, drinking or too much licking of lips) before a long-staying stain takes over. The transition from the fresh coat to stain isn’t unflattering (no patchiness and uneven fading). Very good indeed!

The color
– Creamy texture
– Applies smoothly
– Nicely pigmented!
– The lipstick itself stays long if you don’t eat or drink
– Leaves a pretty stain that stays on for a long time!
– Didn’t dry out my lips
– Doesn’t have an unpleasant taste
– The lip caring ingredients
– The things it doesn’t have (parabens, sulfates, phthalates etc.)
– Cute vintage packaging
– Easy to get hold of because Snoe Beauty branches keep sprouting!

– Pricier than lipsticks of other local brands but given the benefits, I’m ok with it
– Some may not like the sweet scent (smells of oils and other ingredients) but I’m pretty tolerant with scents unless it smells really bad or chemical

I love this lipstick and I plan on getting the other shades, starting with those I like best. You’ve got to get yourselves ready though because by next year there will be A LOT MORE to choose from!

I’ll be posting swatches on Berry Divine soon, which is my brother’s Christmas gift to me! I’d like to get Vintage Rose too because I think it will be a great everyday lipstick. I’d have to swatch Sugar and Spice first and see if it’s the pink I’m looking for. I should get a tube of Bite Me soon because it’s limited edition!

I would like to commend Snoe Beauty for making their Rouge Deluxe debut consist of colors that are hip and trendy. The current choices are really nice and many would likely be able to snag a shade that they prefer. And I love that they’re choosing to expand the Rouge Deluxe lipstick collection by bringing more nudes, browns and some reds to the table in the coming year! Have you seen this photo on their Facebook page? I’m so excited! Hopefully there would be MAC dupes in there. 😛

HEAR YE, HEAR YE! Southern Manileñas, I bring you good news!
Our beloved brand Snoe Beauty is now in Parañaque!
Yep, you read it right! Snoe is now at SM City Sucat!
I’ve seen a photo on Snoe’s Instagram account, saying that there would indeed be a branch opened at SM City Sucat. I was ecstatic and I squealed in delight that my mom looked up from her crossword puzzle!
Last Sunday, mom and I went on a movie date. Of course we watched Breaking Dawn 2.
We opted for the 1 PM showtime instead so that we could have lunch, but bought the ticket na para diretso na lang. As we approached the escalator at the ground floor, lo and behold, in the glory of it’s pristine walls, stood a Snoe boutique! I told mom that I wanted to have a look later, but I couldn’t help taking a photo. Here, you will see a shopper chatting with an employee.
Some five hours later of movie watching and purchasing household essentials, I stepped in the store with my mom! I really like the clean, fresh vibe of the store’s interiors! That’s my mom reflected in the mirror heehee.
I learned that they were open for business since Tuesday, November 13th.
Feast your eyes on Snoe Beauty’s offerings!

And oh, you can also buy some pre-packaged products! I’m not sure if it’s still available in other branches.
Here’s ate (I’m so bad with names! When we meet again I won’t forget na I promise! Will edit this post in the near future for this kind woman’s name!) filling out my receipt. She told me she was originally posted at the Festival mall branch.
EDIT: Her name is Marycris! Now, there are two sales attendants in the store. The other is Ate Grace.
I had a great time chatting with her. It’s amazing and comforting to know that Snoe’s staff know their stuff! I can bombard her with questions and she will be able to answer them all. She was very helpful and gave suggestions on what I need for my skin.
Hihi, she’s a little shy and pinilit ko lang siya sumama sa picture.
Thanks mom for taking some of these photos, especially this one!
There were a lot of people passing by (not as much as MOA on a Sunday or any day of course, just us peace-loving Parañaqueños :P) so taking this picture is a feat in itself!
(Could’ve pointed the cam a little higher though, mom. But you did a great job! :P)

I was supposed to buy a bottle of Star Night Star Bright toner, but it wasn’t available at the time, so I just got something from their pre-packaged products. It was an unplanned purchase hihi. Next time I hope I’d snag that toner na ’cause I’m running out of the one I’m currently using.
I got No. 7 and No. 6! Blemishes and acne begone!
I’m very glad that Snoe Beauty is now 30 minutes away from where I live!
I’m excited to try more of their products!

Snoe Beauty: The Past, Present and Future

Saturday of the previous week was a blast! Instead of the usual humdrum afternoon at home, I did something a lot better! I met up with friends I gained because of our common love for prettifying and we went to Snoe Beauty’s 3rd semi-annual blogger event!
With their witty product names and adorable packaging, Snoe Beauty had us charmed. I’ve always sensed a burst of enthusiasm and energy from the product names and packaging that resonate the passion of the two beautiful and powerful women who started it all: Jen Gerodias Diaz and Gen Enriquez-Gerodias.
When we arrived, the entertaining Ms. Leny, Snoe’s General Manager, reminisced the PAST with us. We revisited our good ol’ friends, the well-loved products that helped the beauty brand make its mark in the Philippines.

I’m sure a lot of you have heard and raved about Snoe’s Beauty Bars (Oatmeal’s the crowd favorite!), Beso Balm, Glam Jam, Here Comes the Sunblock, Emu skin care line, Magic Apple S-rub, Scrumptious Body Spritz, Hair Heroes, and Star Night Star Bright Toner to name a few. Better stock up on your favorites though, because we’d be saying goodbye to some of them soon. Wipe that sadness from your face, because Snoe Beauty is set on bringing you better products! ☺

gave us a lot to be thankful for!
Then we proceeded to the PRESENT, where Ms. Leny acquainted us with the products we’ve seen in Snoe Beauty’s Facebook page. Snoe has something even better for your skin regimen with the Shoo-Zit and Awesome Poresome lines. They have also delved deeper into cosmetics containing ingredients that would benefit your skin! There’s Hyperfunction foundation, Parallel Pigments CC Cream, BBfied HD-BB Pigment Mix, Poudre Phenomenon Pore Erasing HD Powder and Rouge Deluxe Lip Care. Ms. Leny also showed us the latest Hair Heroes, Invisible Wonder which is a cleansing oil shampoo. I thought it smelled really nice.
brings us these exciting new products!
I wasn’t able to take a photo of it, but this product is what the event was named after! Snoe Beauty did it again! As with the famous argan oil from Morocco, the beauty brand was able to bring to the table Past, Present and the Future, a Bio Marine + Vegetables serum that promises to banish wrinkles, puffy eyes and dark circles! The retail price of Php1399 is actually a steal, considering how much similar products from foreign brands cost. I hope to get my hands on a bottle soon!

At one point in the event, I was able to swatch the six existing Rouge Deluxe shades.
Hope this could help you choose. Oh, what the heck, I know you want them all! 😛
They’re coming out with a LOT more shades soon!
Top horizontal: Just Peachy
Bottom L-R: Bite Me, Vintage Rose, Chili Pepper, Precious Pout, and Heavenly Pink
Then, we were able to take a peek into the FUTURE! So excited to know that more cosmetics items would be added to the ever-growing Snoe Beauty family! Can you guess what they are?
looks bright and full of promise!
Expect more branches to sprout up because Snoe is serious about reaching out to everyone!
Of course, Ms. Jen was her usual bubbly, engaging self!
The mission of Snoe to be THE beauty brand that could represent the Philippine beauty industry is very heartening. I feel optimistic that Snoe Beauty will be able to reach their goal!

Let us say hello to Peace, Love Happiness & Cosmetics! It’s a brand that would cater to those who would like to start their own cosmetics business by helping them create their products. I believe they would also be accepting orders for personalized cosmetics with a choose your own ingredients scheme, as well as for party giveaways. Whether it’s a small or large bulk order, fret not! They will make it for you!
Here is Ms. Jen answering queries along with Peace, Love, Happiness & Cosmetics president, Ms. Nina
(with Ms. Gen in the background heehee. God bless you and your baby!)

Snoe SunTervention Bloggers Convention ☺

WARNING: Picture heavy post
Last Saturday afternoon, it was raining. But despite the gloomy weather, a group of girls were oblivious to it and had fun in the sun-in-hiding! Snoe held a bloggers convention for their newest sunblock, the SunTervention! ☺ I wasn’t able to attend their first event last December because of school. I’m so glad that I was able to go to this one! ☺
Eherm… We were a bit late… And I think the things we missed were: trying out some of the products, the talk on SunTervention sunblock *sob*, and the beginning of the game involving slathering sunblock on four hunks.
More deets after the jump! ☺

Yeah, yeah, we were right on time… for eating! 😛 The dishes were courtesy of Manang’s Chicken! I loved the food! Aya can attest to this, because she saw me inhale one of everything. 😛
Picture, picture muna! 😛
Kai, me, Jen
with Aya
Finally met the lovely Helen! ☺
with Atty. Donnarence and Genn (ang kulit haha!)
with forever girl crush Tara! ♥
with the tall and pretty Char
with Clair ☺
with pretty Mich
Look at all these goodies…
And some more…
After eating, there was a fun game of modeling the latest Hair Heroes variant, Hair Heroes Extreme with emu and acai. Genn vs. Aya vs. Tara! Genn won thanks to her hair flipping prowess. 😛
Next was the awarding for best dressed female! The chosen three were Tara, Martha and Irene. Irene won with her pretty outfit! If you wanna see pics visit my page’s album HERE. Please like my page too. 😀
Then, 1/2 of the brains (and beauty. tryna be punny heehee) behind Snoe, the lovely Jen Gerodias-Diaz, (she’s the one who thinks of the catchy product names!) gave a talk on the other products recently launched and to-be-launched in the market as well as future plans and some products being developed. I tell you, the future looks bright and beautiful with Snoe. ☺
 with the beautiful Jen Gerodias-Diaz!
We were given Snoe money to purchase the Snoe products we wanted to take home.
Believe me, it took a lot of self-control not to go crazy and buy everything in sight.
We got a tube of SunTervention for free! Wheeeee! Thanks Snoe!
The mandatory OOTD.
Top and skirt, I honestly dunno where I got them. LOL
Given by relatives from abroad ata. 😛

I will be posting a review on the SunTervention after sufficient roadtesting.☺
Excited to grab Oh my wash! I’m still finishing a huge bottle of fem wash and I’d grab one or two of these next time. Probably when I visit their SM Center Las Piñas branch! 😀
